Scottsdale City Jail

The Scottsdale jail does not have on-site medical staff. Inmates with medical needs may be transferred elsewhere. The city jail handles short sentences. Longer sentences go to Maricopa County.

Maricopa County Jail Search
The MCSO inmate search is where most Scottsdale arrests end up. Longer sentences go to county custody. The online search is free and works any time. Enter the person's name and date of birth.
Call the MCSO inmate hotline at (602) 876-0322. This automated line runs around the clock. It uses voice commands to search for inmates. Have the person's full name ready when you call.
Inmate Services
Once at Maricopa County jail, inmates can receive money and calls through third-party systems. ViaPath (GettingOut) handles video visitation. TouchPay handles money deposits. GTL runs the phone system.
Video visits cost $0.25 per minute for remote visits. Each inmate gets one free video visit per week. On-site visits at the jail cost $7.95 for 20 minutes. Schedule visits through the ViaPath website.
Victim Notification
Arizona VINE alerts crime victims when an inmate's status changes. This includes release, transfer, or escape. The service is free and confidential. Register at VINELink or call 1-800-247-9763.
