Santa Cruz County Detention Center
The Adult Detention Center is at 2170 N. Congress Dr, Nogales, AZ 85621. This modern facility opened in 2011. It was designed to house 372 inmates. The jail uses an all-video visitation system.
The detention center serves all of Santa Cruz County. This includes Nogales, Rio Rico, Patagonia, and surrounding areas. All arrests in the county go to this facility.
Santa Cruz County Jail Visitation
The jail uses Securus Technologies for video visitation. Public visits happen on Saturdays and Sundays only. Professional visits are Monday through Friday during these times: 8:00 to 11:45 am, 2:30 to 5:00 pm, and 6:00 to 8:00 pm.
You must schedule visits at least one day in advance. Contact Securus to set up an account and schedule your visit time. Both on-site and remote video visits are available. The on-site video kiosks are in the jail lobby. Remote visits let you connect from home using a computer or phone.
Fingerprint clearance cards cost $7.00 each. Payment is by money order only for fingerprinting services.
Inmate Phone and Money Services
Phone calls and video visits go through Securus Technologies. You need to set up an account to receive calls or send money. Call Securus at 877-578-3658 for help with accounts. Inmates can call collect or use prepaid phone time.
Commissary accounts let inmates buy snacks, hygiene items, and other goods. You can add money through the Securus website or by phone. The jail does not accept cash deposits in person. Money orders work for bonds but not for daily inmate accounts.
Mail goes to the detention center address. Write the inmate name and booking number on all mail. The jail may inspect incoming mail for security. Legal mail gets special handling. Mark legal mail clearly on the envelope.
