How to Search Pima County Jail Roster

The Pima County Sheriff Inmate Lookup is free and works any time. Go to the website and enter the person's name. The system searches current inmates in Pima County custody. Results show the inmate's name, booking info, charges, and housing location.

Pima County Detention Facilities

Pima County has two jail facilities. The main one is the Adult Detention Complex in Tucson. This is where most inmates are housed. The second facility is in Ajo for the western part of the county. Both are run by the Pima County Sheriff's Office.

The Adult Detention Complex is at 1270 W. Silverlake Road, Tucson, AZ 85713. Phone: (520) 351-8111. This is the main booking facility for Pima County. The Ajo District Jail is at 1249 W. Ajo Well Road, Ajo, AZ 85321. Phone: (520) 387-8511. It serves the rural western part of the county with 24 beds.

Visiting Inmates in Pima County Jail

Visits must be scheduled in advance. Same-day walk-in visits are no longer accepted. You need to book at least one day ahead. The jail uses GTL's GettingOut system for video visits. Go to pimacountyaz.gtlvisitme.com to schedule.

Remote video visits are available from home. On-site visits happen at jail kiosks. Each visit has a time limit and fees may apply. The jail visits hotline is (520) 351-8114. Call this number for questions about scheduling or visit rules.

Pima County Jail Records Requests

The jail roster is free. But detailed reports cost money. Pima County jail records can be requested through the Sheriff's Office. Reports cost $5 each for the first 20 pages. Additional pages are $0.25 each.
